My hubs's cousin had a baby last week, so I made a little baby girl card to tell the congratulations. I bought this Signature Anya set from The Greeting Farm when it was on their Farmers Market a few months ago, but didn't use any of the images on a card yet. I had stamped out and colored all 3 images in the set...but didn't have any card ideas for which to use them.
LUCKILY, my hubs's cousin decided to have a baby girl so I now had the perfect excuse to use one of the adorable images. Wahoo!!
So here's the card:
Very pastel-y, girl-y, and spring-y, no? And since I had buttons, I decided to randomly stick them on. Also, SEE THE RIBBON?? EEEEEEEEEEEE!! It's from Michael's and it is double-faced satin!! Whee!! I digs!! And it comes in soooo many pretty color - I WANT THEM ALL!! (I'm starting to sound like Jamie, haha!!). But seriously...it comes in so many pretty colors and it's double-faced!! yeah!!
The envelope that this card went into is quite bunchy. I hope the post office will still deliver the card to my hubs's cousin!
Stamps: TGF Signature Anya, Savvy sentiment
Ink: Memento black, Versafine black
Paper: Memory Box pre-scored notecard, October Afternoon Ducks in a Row

Cute! Is she supposed to be Alice in Wonderland?
ReplyDeleteLOVE the two background papers. Can my letter set be made from these?
