I was having the hardest time coming up with a card to make and was sketching for a few days, trying and scrapping ideas, when I finally landed on this. However...it called for a leafy branch-like accent and I simply did not have such a stamp set (e.g. Turning a New Leaf) nor did I have time to swing by and borrow it from Jamie. What's a girl to do? Easy - go shopping! haha...
So I ended up buying this Sizzlit branch die. I totally love it and it's much easier than cutting out TANL branches, no matter how groovy it looks on the finished product.
I stamped PTI Diamond background images on the bottom 3 "ruffles" of paper...the ruffles which were accomplished by using the EK Success scalloped border punch on 3 sheets of paper. I blinged up the ruffles with Memory Box sticker jewels, and stamped a simple sentiment.
Stamps: PTI Diamond backgrounds, Rubber Soul sentiment
Paper: Stardream Chiara silver, black, and opal
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Pearlescent Ice Blue
Accessories: EK Success Border punch, Memory Box crystal stickers, Sizzlit die, random ribbon
Ooh pretty! I bet the card is all beautifully sparkley in real life. I *love* that die...maybe i should get it too since cutting out TANL is a bit of a pain. Hurray for using new sets!
